ľan stonka
It is a basic raw material used to obtain high-quality natural fiber for the textile industry. It is known for its high content of strong bast fibers, which are spun into yarn for the production of linen fabrics. The stem has a smooth surface with narrow lance-shaped leaves. The most valuable part is the technical length of the stem—a straight, long section along the entire stem from which the highest-quality fibers are obtained. These fibers are strong, smooth, naturally lustrous, and highly breathable. They are used for the production of canvas, tablecloths, towels, bed linen, clothing, decorations, painting canvases, bookbinding, and technical textiles.
