fake mohér

A textile material that imitates the appearance of real mohair, but is most commonly made from synthetic fibres, especially acrylic or nylon. Composition: typically 100% acrylic, or blends of acrylic, nylon, and a small proportion of wool (e.g. 49% nylon, 48% acrylic, 3% wool). Fake mohair is an inexpensive, easy-care alternative to genuine mohair, suitable for fashion items that are not intended for long-term durability or intensive wear.
