Mint cellulose
An innovative textile material in which mint extract or mint plant residues are incorporated into a cellulose-based fibre. This type of fibre is created by combining natural cellulose (from wood, cotton, bamboo, etc.) with active compounds from mint, using modern technologies such as microencapsulation or direct mixing of mint extract into a viscose solution before fibre spinning.
Composition: 85–95% cellulose, 5–15% mint extract or residues.
It is suitable for sportswear, underwear, and textiles with high hygiene requirements. Its strength is comparable to conventional viscose, but the addition of mint enhances functionality and ecological value.
