Viscose

A semi-synthetic fibre made from regenerated cellulose, most commonly derived from wood or cotton. It was developed as a cheaper alternative to silk and is often referred to as “artificial silk.” Viscose is widely used in the textile industry due to its unique properties and broad range of applications. Viscose is a popular, relatively eco-friendly and very comfortable material, suitable especially for summer and elegant clothing, underwear, home textiles, and also technical applications. Thanks to its softness, cooling effect, breathability, and high absorbency, it is often the preferred choice for people seeking comfort and a natural feel against the skin.
