PD Žemberovce

The Žemberovce Agricultural Cooperative is a traditional farming cooperative based in the village of Žemberovce in the Levice District, dedicated to comprehensive agricultural activities, including both crop and livestock production. The cooperative manages thousands of hectares of land and employs dozens of staff, focusing on the production of high-quality food raw materials. In crop production, it grows cereals, oilseeds, legumes, and selected fruit crops such as apples, plums, and grapes. In livestock production, the cooperative specializes in the breeding of cattle, Tsigai sheep, and other farm animals, producing milk, meat, and other animal products. Its main products include beef, pork, lamb, as well as cow’s and sheep’s milk. In addition to production, the cooperative provides technical services, including mechanized field work, machinery maintenance, and transportation, for both its own operations and external clients.
