MANUZONA

MANUZONA has been operating since 2016 as a handmade craft workshop focused primarily on sheep’s wool, particularly local Slovak and Czech varieties. The founder specializes in spinning, knitting, crocheting, and working with fibers, while constantly expanding her craft skills and techniques. Since 2017, she has collaborated with ÚĽUV as a registered workshop and instructor for wool spinning courses, and she authored the publication Hand Processing of Wool in the School of Traditional Production and Crafts series. In 2018, the civic association Naša vlna was founded, which organizes courses, connects wool enthusiasts, and carries out educational activities to promote sheep’s wool processing. MANUZONA focuses on promoting traditional techniques, sustainable production, and the return of local sheep’s wool to the market. The goal is to revive the craft and foster public interest in high-quality Slovak wool.
