The Institute of Natural Fibers and Medicinal Plants – National Research Institute is the only interdisciplinary research institution of international significance in Poland dedicated to comprehensive research on the harvesting and processing of natural fiber and plant raw materials, such as flax and hemp. The Institute operates several experimental agricultural stations where breeding activities, seed production, and modern agricultural technologies for the cultivation of fiber, energy, medicinal, and other plants are carried out.
