Michal Lorenčík
He lives and works in Kráľová Lehota. He is a disability pensioner (ZŤPS) and graduated from the vocational school in Liptovský Mikuláš, where he studied Textile Production—Weaving and Home Economics and Services.
At home, he works on old looms over 100 years old, as well as on small, new ones, which he uses for weaving tablecloths. He is creative, skilled, and has a keen sense of color coordination. He focuses primarily on custom work rather than mass production.
In his work, he primarily uses recycled natural materials; his range of woven products includes rugs, doormats, bedspreads, and tablecloths. In addition to weaving, he also knits socks and crochets woolen hats.
