Uľuv Stupava
The Museum of Folk Art Production in Stupava was established in 2008 as a specialized workplace of the Center for Folk Art Production focused on folk art production. The mission of the museum is to create objective, textual and pictorial documentation of folk art production in the past and present through professional scientific and documentation activities.
The museum currently manages three funds: collection, work and documentation.
The majority of the collections in the museum's holdings consist of items that the employees of the Center for Folk Art Production have acquired since the 1950s from the traditional folk environment, from the assortment produced under the banner of the Center for Folk Art Production, or created themselves (photographs, costume documentation).
At the same time, new items acquired by purchase, donation, or research were added to the funds. The collection funds of the museum consist of collections of textiles, wood, ceramics, objects made of metal, wicker, and shell. In the documentation fund, the museum manages, among other things, photo archives, research reports, costume documentation.
Currently, the museum allows researchers, scientists and museum workers to study its collections and documents in person.
