WKI Isoliertechnik GmbH is a German company in 1885 WKI-Tegafol was founded as the first German spinning mill for fine jute yarn. At that time, spinning machines were powered by steam. Those times are already in the past, but we have preserved a good tradition and thus prepared our company for the future. with headquarters in Berlíne, which belongs to the WKI Unternehmensgruppe group. The company was founded in 1992, drawing on more than 30 years of tradition in the field of production and processing of insulating materials. WKI specializes in the production, sale and distribution of insulating materials, mainly from expanded polystyrene (EPS), technical foils, cords and polypropylene fibers intended for construction and industry. Due to the constant development of machines and technologies, as well as changes in demand, our product portfolio has continuously expanded to its present form.
Polypropylene, a versatile raw material, gives us the opportunity to offer our technical yarns in different finenesses, with high tensile strength and in different colors. This high flexibility allows us to respond to specific customer requests, which can be implemented very quickly and cost-effectively.
The gradual addition of our product portfolio in recent decades, especially with foil products for the agro-sector, was a significant step in terms of our goal to become not only a comprehensive partner for our customers in industry and agriculture, but also a reliable partner in terms of quality. The company also develops special insulation systems and products adapted to individual customer requirements. Manufactured in state-of-the-art facilities in Germany, WKI emphasizes quality control and environmental responsibility, including recycling of insulation materials. Their logistics are optimized for flexible deliveries directly to the construction site or to the client's warehouse.
