The company is a recognized partner in the automotive, aviation, construction and filter industries, where special, high-performance fabrics are required. C. Cramer & Co. GmbH, founded in 1947, is a family business managed by the third generation of the Cramer family. Today it is among the leading independent producers of industrial textiles, reinforcements, thermoplastic pre-pregs and organosandwiches (organosheets). With around 330 employees at two state-of-the-art manufacturing sites – one in Heek, Germany and the other in Dover, New Hampshire at USA – the company supplies the global market with industrial textiles and engineered composite materials. Since the 1980s, C. Cramer has been supplying its premium rebars to the premium automotive, aerospace, eVTOL and aerospace industries, predominantly as a tier 1, 2 or 3 supplier. Over the past seven decades, C. Cramer has built robust and reliable processes as well as long-term relationships. The company has experience in scaling and supporting sophisticated material programs. It is constantly developing new proprietary technologies to innovate the processing of high-performance fibers into advanced textiles. The C. Cramer Studio Development platform enables the company to conduct individual development programs with its partners and push the boundaries of textiles and reinforcement materials.
