Hanfingenieur is a German company (and concept at the same time) specialized in sustainable construction using hemp as a building material. The main character is HenrikPauly, who founded the Hanfingerenieur team, and since 2020 the company has been actively involved in projects related to hemp concrete, from architectural design to project planning to building construction. Their activities include: consulting and project management for hemp construction, sourcing materials (hemp fibers, grit), technical planning and dimensioning of hemp systems, trainings and seminars on construction techniques with hemp. Hanfingerenieur emphasizes climate-neutral and carbon-negative construction. They consider the use of hemp in construction to be one of the most promising ways to reduce the ecological footprint of buildings and support the circular and bio-economy. In addition to projects, the company is also dedicated to popularization and education — it organizes seminars on construction hemp and offers professional training. In their e-shop, participants can find tools and aids for construction projects with hemp (e.g. a mixer for hemp-lime mixtures).
