Hanfbaukollektiv is a platform and competence group that deals with building with hemp (hanf) and lime (kalk) materials. Their goal is to be the central contact for construction projects with hemp in Germany — they bring together architects, construction companies, engineers and manufacturers of natural building materials who are interested in sustainable and climate-friendly buildings. Hanfbaukollektiv organizes workshops, seminars and webinars on construction techniques with hemp — for example, lectures on mixing hemp-lime mixture, application techniques such as "in-situ" and spraying, and physical symposia for those interested. In their publications, we can also find practical recommendations for the processing of hanfkalk — for example, how to mix hemp husks with lime, how it is processed by the "in-situ" method, or how the spraying system for applying hanfkalk works.
