VÚB, a.s. is a Czech company based in Ústí nad Orlicí (Na Ostrově1165), which specializes in the production of textile machines, functional textiles and the development of new technologies for the textile industry. The main production activity of VÚB is the development and construction of single-purpose machines and customized equipment. The company supplies machine lines and equipment for technologies in textile production and for other industries, adapting them to the specific requirements of clients. In the field of textiles, VÚB manufactures CleverTex® - protective and special clothing and textiles with functional properties such as antistatic, non-flammability and intended for demanding industrial, rescue or medical applications. Research and development are an important part of the VÚB business model. The company invests in the development of textile technology: it develops rotor yarns, functional fiber blends (e.g. hemp, flax) and optimizes textile processes.
