Terej

Terej is a Czech studio-brand based in Prague (Libeň), which is known in the textile world as an author's workshop led by designer Eva Jandíková. Under the name it means "textile realization of Eva Jandíková". The main mission of Terej is to take the creation of woven textiles to a higher level — it offers designer, often limited collections of fabrics that are created using traditional weaving techniques in cooperation with Czech weaving mills. Patterns resulting from color combinations of yarns and technical weaves are typical — visual stripes, checks or color combinations that are difficult to simulate digitally, emphasizing the artisanal and handmade nature of production. The Terej range includes natural materials — primarily pure cotton and linen. The offer includes fabric by the meter suitable for both home textiles (curtains, tablecloths, covers, accessories) and clothing. In addition to fabrics, they also offer ready-made home and home textiles (for example, bed linen) in original designs. Terej places a strong emphasis on design — the collections are designed with an eye for detail, color and traditional patterns, which are connected to the historical tradition of the Czech "kanafas". Their textiles are different from regular mass production — they are limited editions, often hand-made or in small quantities, which are intended for customers looking for unique, high-quality and aesthetically expressive material. In terms of distribution, Terej functions as a studio + e-shop + showroom — customers can purchase fabric meters or finished products directly online, or visit a sample room.
