Uni Pardubuce CHTF
The Faculty of Chemistry and Technology at Pardubice University is an important academic and research workplace focused on chemistry, materials engineering, chemical technologies and related disciplines. It is historically the oldest faculty of the university — its roots go back to the 1950s, and after the transformation of the educational institution, FChT was established as part of the university. FChT provides a wide space for teaching and research in various fields: from chemical processes, inorganic technologies, biochemistry, through polymer and material engineering, to food analysis or environmental engineering. The faculty has various departments — for example, the department of analytical chemistry — which also offers study and research in the field of product quality and analysis (which may also include textile or material analysis). FChT places a strong emphasis on research and innovation — there is a modern workplace for material sciences and nanotechnologies (e.g. the center known as CEMNAT), which focuses on the synthesis, characterization and applications of organic and inorganic materials. FChT UPCE thus represents an important connecting point between the academic scientific community, industrial research and production — if you are interested in how new materials, processing technologies or materials analysis are developed in ČR, this faculty is one of the relevant places.
