Žilinská univerzita - Strojnícka fakulta

Currently, the faculty consists of ten specialist departments, which are staffed by 26 professors, more than 30 docents and dozens of assistant professors and researchers who, in cooperation with other faculty and university staff, ensure the pedagogical and scientific research process. For development in the field of science and technology, the faculty has at its disposal dozens of laboratories and several specialized computer classrooms, through which applications of the most modern technologies and research knowledge are ensured in technical practice. Industrial technologies and the specific areas arising from them, such as virtual modeling technologies and computer-supported experimental research in production technologies and material engineering, are certainly in the center of the faculty's professional interest.
