Hemp concrete

An ecological building and insulation material made from a mixture of hemp shives (the woody core of the stem), lime binder, and water. It is known for its durability, healthy indoor environment, and ability to bind carbon dioxide. It is lightweight and flexible, prevents cracking, and effectively dampens vibrations. Thanks to its porous structure, it provides excellent thermal and sound insulation, stabilises indoor temperature and humidity fluctuations, and thus contributes to healthy living conditions. It is 100% recyclable and compostable. Suitable for wall infill, floors, and roofs.
