Milk protein

Milk protein, especially casein, is used to produce so-called milk fibre (casein fibre), which belongs to regenerated protein fibres. This fibre is made from milk or milk by-products, making its production relatively ecological and sustainable. Milk fibre is less resistant to moisture and has lower strength when wet, so it is often blended with other fibres. It is also prone to wrinkling and requires gentle care and maintenance.
