Elso Magyar Kenderfonó

Első Magyar Kenderfonó Zrt. (The first Hungarian hemp spinning mill) boasts almost 145 years of tradition. Its predecessor, the Szeged hemp processing factory, was founded by Nándor Bakay in 1877 for the production of hemp ropes, cords, twine and fabrics. Our main goal is to continue to offer high-quality cords, twines, ropes and binding materials in a wide range, made from ecological and natural raw materials for the needs of agriculture, handicrafts, meat industry, furniture and many other industries. In addition to the domestic market, we export our products to many European countries as well as to the United States of America. The plastic division has more than 40 years of professional experience in the production of raschel fabrics. As one of the largest companies of this kind in Central Europe, we offer a wide selection of raschel packaging bags, hoses and flat fabrics. Our production program also includes various polypropylene tying and pressing cords, which are widely used in households and in agriculture. Our company focuses primarily on wholesale and retail sales, while part of the sales goes to the domestic market and we export the rest mainly to Europe. Due to the specific nature of our products, our main customers are distributors and end users from the field of agriculture. We strive to adapt our offer to the needs of customers - both the production program and production planning are determined according to known customer requirements. We base ourselves on stable, long-term business relations with our partners, customers and suppliers - on the principles of mutual respect and the benefits of cooperation. Our business and technical experts are always ready to help partners with their specific requirements. In addition to constantly increasing customer satisfaction, strengthening market positions and expanding market share is a guarantee of our dynamic growth. In the summer of 2009, our company moved from Szeged to Hódmezővásárhely, where in more modern conditions it continues to produce the entire usual assortment. We believe that after studying this product overview, you will get enough information about our company and products to be able to choose the most suitable product for your needs.
