Štefan Krošlák
A Slovak family company based in the village of Nitrianska Blatnica, which in more than three decades has established itself as a reliable manufacturer of furniture — primarily upholstered and metal. Its history began in 1991, when the founder František Krošlák founded a company originally focused on metal processing. In 1994, the product range was expanded to include upholstered furniture. Gradually, the company expanded its capacities — today it has divisions for metalwork and upholstery and employs dozens of workers in both areas. The production profile includes metal frames, legs, bases or metal components for furniture, which the company subsequently uses in the production of upholstered furniture sofas, armchairs, beds and other furniture. Historically, most of the production was directed to export — to Western Europe and other foreign markets. However, in recent years the company has developed its own brand for retail: under the brands Kroslak home and Arteston, it also offers upholstered and metal furniture to end customers. Thanks to this, the company has transformed from a purely manufacturing company to a product-oriented company that not only manufactures, but also designs and sells complete pieces of furniture. In addition to design and production, the company gradually focused on sustainability: increases the energy efficiency of its operation — for example, by investing in photovoltaics, which is supposed to cover a significant part of electricity consumption. The Upcycle project was also created from surplus materials from production — an effort to recycle materials and support the circular economy. Krošlák's current customers are wholesale chains, traders, but also architects and designers — that is, companies and end clients who value quality, delivery reliability and timeless design.
