Vaneková Angelika

She got to the wave in 2008 by completing a course at ÚĽUV. Shortly afterwards, she expanded her knowledge on another wool course in Hungary. The first was devoted to the processing of wool, the second to the technological side of working with it. She likes wool as a material because of its malleability and color variability, as well as the possibility of spatial and surface use. She likes to create colorful things, color often becomes the inspiration for a new shape. She mostly buys dyed wool, she dyes some shades herself, she also experiments with natural colors of wool from different types of sheep. He highly values the properties of wool - it absorbs sweat, does not smell, adapts to the body, cools in summer, warms in winter. In her work, she uses the felting technique to make clothes (caps, hats, scarves, gloves), home accessories, bags, shoes, jewelry. She is also attracted to the production of traditional felt outerwear and slippers-rollers, although their colors are more muted.
