Zwartbles

It originates from a sheep breed native to the northern Netherlands. It is not suitable for dyeing, but it excels in its natural dark shades. It is mainly used for knitting and weaving durable sweaters, coats, hats, gloves, socks, blankets, carpets, bags, and home textiles, as well as for dry and wet felting of decorations, toys, and artistic objects, where its natural dark colour, elasticity, and strength stand out. It occurs in shades of black and brown.
