Chubut

It originates from Argentine Patagonia (Chubut province) and is a fine Merino wool. The fibres are naturally elastic, so the resulting yarn is flexible and holds its shape well. The wool is dense, lustrous, and has well-defined crimp. It is springy, voluminous, and has good resistance to mould and mildew. It is mainly used for hand spinning, knitting, and weaving fine yarns for sweaters, scarves, hats, gloves, socks, and children’s clothing, as well as for wet and dry felting, making toys, decorations, and artistic textile projects, where its softness, elasticity, and durability stand out.
