Rambouillet

It is a French sheep breed developed at the end of the 18th century from original Spanish Merino sheep. These sheep are known for their resilience, adaptability to different climatic conditions, and strong flocking instinct. The wool has a pronounced crimp, is very elastic, airy, warm, and holds its shape well. The fibre is durable, long-lasting, and resistant to wear. It is mainly used for hand spinning, knitting, crocheting, felting, and weaving fine yarns, and is suitable for making sweaters, scarves, hats, blankets, socks, and children’s clothing.
