Coriedale
It is a sheep breed developed at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries in New Zealand and Australia by crossing Merino and Lincoln sheep.
The fibre is strong, wear-resistant, holds its shape well, and has a long lifespan. It is dense, bulky, and evenly crimped, which gives it elasticity and excellent insulating properties.
It is mainly used for yarn production for knitting and crocheting, felting, weaving, home textiles (blankets, throws, carpets), as well as various craft and artistic products.
