Hrča Martin

He graduated from the Fashion Design Studio at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. His work reveals a fascination with nature and a reverence for traditional materials, which he approaches with a contemporary, exploratory mindset, an emphasis on detail, and meticulous, handcrafted garment construction. He builds each collection around a specific theme, which he develops through multiple designs. He subtly blends the animalistic naturalness and wildness of nature with a touch of luxury and grandeur. Among natural materials, he primarily uses wool, linen, and silk. Martin Hrča aims to emphasize that even traditional, rugged materials can be creatively transformed into sophisticated designs with a contemporary aesthetic.
