Priadka

Priadka is a Slovak craft project focused on hand-spinning wool and producing products from hand-treated yarn. The project is run by the entrepreneur Petronela Oravcová and represents a smaller workshop that specializes in traditional wool processing techniques. The main material is natural wool, which is spun and dyed by hand, and then various textile products are made from it, including tapestries, decorative pillows, gloves, hats and other accessories. Priadka thus covers the entire craft chain from basic fiber processing to finished products, emphasizing the quality and authenticity of handwork. The products are intended for customers who value traditional wool processing, craftsmanship and unique design. Priadka is an important representative of small-scale production and artisan textile production in Slovakia, and its activities contribute to the preservation of traditional textile techniques and the diversity of material culture.
